Zimmerman Marketing Research has long-term relationships with a significant network of marketing research professionals. Each study, therefore, utilizes marketing research professionals with the specific skills needed for that study.

All studies are lead either by Mary Ann Niemczycki or Lon Zimmerman.


Executive Leadership:

Mary Ann Niemczycki, Ph.D. is the Director of Research for ZMR. She holds a doctorate in Anthropology from the State University New York at Buffalo and a master’s in Marketing Research from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Dr. Niemczycki has over twenty years of experience as a marketing research analyst and focus group moderator. Previously, she was Director of Research for The Research & Planning Group.

Lon Zimmerman has been involved in marketing and marketing research for over 25 years.  Prior to establishing Zimmerman Marketing Research, he was associated with The Research & Planning Group.  Previously, he was co-founder and executive vice president of Adamson Advertising. 

Lon regularly presents seminars on marketing research throughout the United States and is a frequent guest lecturer at Washington University and Saint Louis University. 

Lon co-founded the Missouri Chapter of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association, Inc. and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association-St. Louis and the St. Louis Society of Association Executives, and is CITI certified. A former member of the Board of Directors for KETC-Channel 9, PBS, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
